I'm a TC newbie who used to fulltime in a 30ft Arctic Fox 5th wheel.I'm no longer a fulltimer and don't need such a big rig anymore.I am now looking at an Adventurer or Arctic Fox camper to take trips of 2-3 days on a weekly basis for wilderness use. Which camper do you think does best in windy, bumpy, off roads? I'm leaning towards the Adventurer since it's a lighter rig and not as tall as the Arctic Fox... but I do also recognize that Arctic Fox has great quality products that wouldn't wear after driving years on rough road...Looking forward to hear from Arctic Fox and Adventurers TC owners!Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.P.S: I have a 2001 F350 dually 4X4, turbo diesel, Super cabNatacha

The Adventurer is a good choice.

I have owned several TCs over the years. I am partial to the molded fiberglass TCs, regardless of brand. I have a couple of limb pinstripes on my Bigfoot TC, that would have ripped open the side of a non-molded fiberglass TC. I do think that overall, the molded fiberglass is a lot more rugged. For cabinet construction there is differences in TCs, appliances if you seen one you have seen them all, in my opinion. Wayne

I will give you my two cents because I own and use an AF, so Im speaking from some experience. This is my 4th RV that Ive owned. As far as quality of construction, you will be very happy with AF. It is by far the best built RV that Ive owned, and Ive had fewer problems and issues with this AF than any of the others. As you already know, they are heavy but you do have a good truck to haul either one. I wont speak for Adventurer because I never owned one. Im sure there Adventurer owners out there that can speak for their brand.

We love our Adventurer 910FBS!.... with the caveat that it's less than a year old.

You can't go wrong with either one they are both great TC
I own a Adventurer 980 RDS and love it .
We also looked at Lance and Arctic Fox before choosing Adventurer.
Why because it weight less than Arctic Fox and cost less than both and had the best layout .
All around best pick for us

I went to the dealership for the second time today and checked both manufacturers. It looks to me that Arctic Fox are better built. I still haven't made my final decision...

We're happy with our 8 foot Adventurer, the 80W. Purchased it second-hand after it was retired as a rental unit. So it saw lots of use on northern roads for several years. It was in very good condition when we purchased it.

Chose a non-slide model because we're usually on rough & dusty roads.
Weight was also a factor with our F-250 and the 80W is light enough.

Hubby is a carpenter so we tend to renovate and tweak our RVs so they suit our needs perfectly. The build quality of this Adventurer is average, not as good as our 10-year-old fifth wheel, but good enough to suit our needs.

Another Adventurer fan here. We love ours. We've previously owned a Gulfstream TT and Salem 5er. Our new TC is substantially better insulated the others (=warmer).

We love the finishes, and it has a surprising amount of storage for a TC.

No brand is without faults. Check the unit over carefully. Make sure EVERYTHING works to your satisfaction. With Adventurer, you get a lot of bang for your buck. They have added a lot of nice features and they try to keep the pricing reasonable.

I know I sound like a commercial. Bottom line is you have to choose a TC to fit your lifestyle. We have taken ours onto some rough areas and it responds nicely. It's only been 1 season so far, but we would do it again.
