We started out with a tent retailer 35 years ago. My wife wanted to take the kids camping and I said fine as long as I don't have to sleep on the floor. Since then we have gone through a class C MH, a TT, 2 5th wheels, a number of different tow vehicles and have just started on a TC. The point of all this is that we built up a lot of experience with RVs and knew what we like and disliked. Most of that knowledge was in many ways relevant to the TC. You need to take some time to take the experience you have acquired and apply it in your search.
A TC is still an RV. if things like storage both interior and exterior, holding tanks, batteries, generators, solar, galary, bathroom, ceiling heights, beds, etc. are important to you then list them and check out more then a single brand of TC. When we were looking, we probably went through at least 6 different brands. While they all had similarities, there were definite difference and some of those differences were big deals to us. You have enough experience to use a discerning eye when looking at a TC.. Have fun in your searching
