My wife prefers Fort Wilderness because:
- trailer and campsite gives you elbow room and a place to relax
- free ferry boat to Magic Kingdom, Wilderness Resort and Contemporary Resort is awesome. Very pretty boat rides (free).
- Trading Post
- Settlement Area
- Pool area
- canoe and bike rentals (or bring your own bike)
- golf cart rental makes it super fun to get around the huge resort.
- fenced dog run area
- free outdoor movies every night
- chip and dale free campfire/sing-along every night
My advice - do the Fort and reserve a golf cart. You will be a hero.
