I think I may have convinced my wife! My question...is a golf cart worth it if we bring our bikes?? I know it would be a blast, but could you get around just as easy on bikes and save the money?
Also, when camping, would you still purchase the Dining Package (1 Quick Service, 1 Table Service, snack and drink)? We probably won't need the table service everyday, but it says you can trade a couple table services for a dinner with a princess.
Imagine this....
You just spent the day at Epcot, which per my pedometer (we are WDW annual pass holders) means that you have been on your feet for 7-10 miles.... You had to watch the closing show called IllumaNations: Reflections of earth. Now it's about 11:30 because you stayed for extra magic hours to catch Soarin' and Test Track one more time. Your feet hurt...to say the least...
You get back to the fort and it's near midnight.... Now you have to ride your bicycle 1/2 mile back to the camper....YES the carts are worth it!!!!
As for the dining plan, it's 100% worth it....if you are going to the parks every day. We loved the pool there and the kids could stay at the pool for hours.
We like the DDP (Disney Dining Plan) because it helps us be flexible and prepay for our food. The counter service food is good but it can get boring very fast, especially on longer stays. The daily sit down meal is VERY appreciated and is a nice break in pace from the parks.
Cindy's castle is NOT worth two sit down meals, do be our guest instead at beast's castle. The environment is breath taking.
Now using two sit down meal's for hoop-dee-do review is totally worth it!
Relax, enjoy, and remember, you are on vacation!!
Thanks!
