We have an Adventurer and we love it. PM me if you want more info.
You are lucky as there in a dealer in Colorado, not too far from you.
Skip is right...make a list of wants and NEEDS.
We too went from a 5er to a TC, so it took a little getting used to but it really makes launching the boat easier. We drop the TC off the truck and lower it down for easy entry. We have the truck free and clear.
Most folks on this forum give very nice advice. One important company is Torklift. Get your fast guns and tie downs from them. They're top notch. We got ours through Tweety's. They were the cheapest and they had/have free shipping.
This will be our 4th yr TCing. We love it and it fits our camping style perfectly. PM me if you have more questions.
One more thing, AF is a very good maker, but I don't like the bathroom next to the door. If you have to use it in the middle of the night, you have to "climb over the big dog on the floor". Our bath is next to the bed area. Something to think about. Look at various floor plans and try to see as many models/makers as possible. Look for RV shows in the area that might have TCs.
