I heard some complain on Diesel forum. Its a government mandate for vehicles below 10,001 pounds but GM doesn't even offer it as an option on the 3500 trucks. Thats what many complain about.
I have TST system on my dually. There is advantages to the aftermarket TPMS. 1- Ability to set alert ranges. 2- Reads Temperature. 3 - Reads trailers tires too.
