Agree completely ... if running A/C
reliably from an EU2000i was that important to me I'd far rather swap out the A/C unit for one that is designed to draw less power, units such as the
Coleman Mach 3 PS or the new
Atwood Air Command which is rated by the manufacturer as "2000 watt generator friendly".
Since this subject of powering an RV roof mounted A/C with a Honda EU2000i genset seems to be of interest I've uploaded 3 of my videos and some pics

can be done
provided certain conditions are met. Nonetheless, Honda's official position is that their EU2000i isn't rated to run a typical 13.5K BTU A/C and if that's your goal you really need greater genset capacity. Privately, many of us know it
can be done as we've done it ... whether it's wise or not is another is another matter. As the old saying goes -
"You pays your money and you takes your chance". ;)
