I built the "Sleepy" version and kept it on for almost two years before removing it. I noticed no improvement of any sort; less bugs, noise, better mileage, etc. All it did was cause me to jack my camper another 3 inches higher to get it on and off is all. It sorta interfered with my vision and really interfered with my dash cam mounted high near the rear view mirror.
Much like Real Estate, location is everything. Mine sits back much further and actually catches air coming off the windshield.
The improvement I experience is in noise abatement and very minimal bug splatter on the front of the camper.
After a 650 mile trip from Arkansas to Texas to attend a rally, I had someone ask me if the air dam/foil worked. I pointed to the front of the camper behind the cab and then the nose of the camper.
