Air filter intake 2016 Ram 6.7
Anybody feel there is a benefit to install a performance intake on a totally deleted 6.7. Slightly chipped and 5 inch pipe to date.

Repeated dyno testing has shown that removing the baffle or the silencer ring has no effect on power output at all.
Even using a free breathing air cleaner only has minimal effect on a stock or near stock engine and then only at 3000 RPM - I did this dyno testing myself.
I am not anti-modification but there's a lot of hype in the market.
