My previous truck ran upper and lower StableLoad's along with Firestone airbags. The truck sat tail high a couple of inches with no modifications and unloaded. I was able to keep the truck level with 7000 lbs on the rear axle just by preloading the stock suspension with StableLoad's. Once I added an additional 1000 lbs of tongue weight on an extension taking the axle weight up to 8000 lbs, I was sagging a little more than an inch in back. Running my Firestone airbags at 50 PSI brought me back to level with both my overloads still engaged. I think this gave me stability that you would not get if you were relying only on the bags and main spring pack.
