That is correct because the new trucks will have the DEF fill port next to the diesel fill port for the new 6 cylinder Duramax. If you watch the last video I linked they show the new and larger flip door to access the fuel and def fill ports.
I guess my point was a 5 gal can. never heard of the def in a 5 gal can. am I wrong?

Yes there's 5 gallon DEF containers being offered now, but I don't mess with them as they're too bulky.
