I have heard this statement before, but I really question the logic of it not being a heavy duty engine.
The 6.2 is very common in boat engines now (mine has it). The surf boats spend their life turning high RPMs pushing around 10,000 pounds through the water. And will go for thousands of hours doing so.
Sounds like more than most HD trucks will ever be put through.
