My 2wd Dodge/Cummins OEM tires were the Michelin LTX AS tires. Worthless on green grass or any icey roads but wears forever. Forget snow over 1-2" deep.
I replaced them with Bridgestone Revo 2 LT E AT. Very quiet tire.
I always go with a AT tire when replacing the OEM AS tires on my 2wd trucks and have never noticed any mpg changes.
Not all AT tread designs are the same. Some have large lugs and voids = more noise...other AT with smaller voids and tread blocks may be quieter.
