You may want to check the rules for marine radios very closely. I don't think you are permitted have one on land. Not sure, but I think I remember someone getting whacked for that. And if you go afoul of the FCC on the marine and, it could affect your amateur ticket.
Hi Tony, Thanks for the info I will contact Bernie. As far as the marine radio goes it would be my base station when we have the boat at Delaware so the wife can keep in touch with me when I am out on the water. It would not be used for land communication.
