Hi Lanny,
I have used one of these WINDOW MOUNT ANTENNAS on a Tucker Sno-Cat. It works very but will only work on single pane glass.
I also carry a Delorme inReach up here where quite often we don't have cell or Ham repeater service. I have used it all over Alaska and Hawaii and it has performed flawlessly. It works from inside the camper.
