Mark's a funny looking wildflower!

All of my pictures are from Mojave National Preserve. First week in April I'll be hiking in MNP again. Locally I noticed the cactus buds getting fat and the globe mallow just starting to pop. There is something special about desert flowering shrubs and flowers that have such a struggle to survive and can produce beauty at the same time.
