Anode Rod
I have used the same anode rod in my Suburban water heater for four years and it is in the same condition as the day I put it in. Why is it not being depleted.

Probably because the water is not aggresive. And also with plastic piping electrolysis is probably no existant.
IMO its a not needed item in an RV.
Usually water is not sitting in the tank too. Gets drained often and winterized..
