Another camper noob question - window to truck?

Our cats went back and forth although we kept the cat pan in the bath/toilet area. Also having an opening is ready nice when traveling in hot or cold weather. Quite a bit of heat or A/C made it into the camper so it was not excessively cold or hot at the end of a day of travel.
