Thanks for that explanation Gavin. Appreciate it. It's all starting to make a bit of sense. I've never researched solar before. Never thought I'd care to for the trailer since I had been told long ago forget it for AC.
Which is really the only thing we'd use it for. Currently, we use a Gen to top off the batteries every day. If it's hot, we plan on doing that mid afternoon to cool off the rig a bit. It's not a necessity though.
Only reason I was looking into solar was that we are starting to use primitive campgrounds more. Meaning neighbors. Think I'll stick with my original plan of investing in a quieter Gen. Our current one would be rude to run anywhere within 20 yards of someone.
