Oh and if you're getting a gasser all of the big 3 have comparably reliable drivetrains IMO if you're getting a newer truck.
The Ford 6.2 gets abysmal fuel mileage in my experience. My 2013 Ford 6.2 ext cab 4wd 4x4 gets 11-12 city/ commuting and 8-9mpg towing/ hauling the equivalent of a truck camper. Not sure how tyre other 2 do in the real world. Just glad I'm not footing the fuel bill for the 6.2.
