Drove back from WVa today and averaged a little over 16.1 mpg (hand calc, EVIC said I also had 16.1...I was impressed)...still better than I ever got with the 10 or the 12'...now have a little over 800 miles on the truck...everything still working ok...truck ran well...
Found out something...hate to admit how stupid I am, but was reading about tire pressure and saw where there are 2 settings for the EB...first time you push the button, a yellow colored icon comes on and that is the most aggressive exhaust braking...every time you let off of the brake pedal...you push the button a second time and the icon turns green and has "auto" underneath it...this is more for being in cruise control and maintaining speeds up and down the mountains...when you brake with it in the second setting, it's not as aggressive. Now you REALLY want to feel it, put the truck in T/H and first setting on the EB...SON, you got some real braking power there...
anyhoo, thought I'd tell about the mpg again coming back today....
