Any details on Ford's new HD class gas engine?

Very little has "leaked" out. Likely it will be a larger version of the existing 6.2L "Boss" engine, probably at least 7.0L. I am guessing they will stay with SOHC, possibly 3 valve, but don't rule out DOHC and 4 valves.

The reason why the V10 has been kept around is that the 6.2L could not pass Ford's internal HD durability tests. So there will be some changes.

My guess is that it will not show up until after Jan 1, 2018 so they will likely call it a 2019.
