Thanks all....I do have a Ram 3500 Dually which we purchased when we bought our 5th wheel. While we didn't need it necessarily for the 5th wheel we bought it in mind of returning to a truck camper. I've already added Bilstein 5100 shocks for my truck and Torklift stable loads in preparation. I'm going to either have some custom spring work done or I might try the Timbren's first. We are doing this in conjunction with a PCS (military transfer) to the east coast but we've got plenty of time to make this all workout.
I was really hoping to find a 1172 owner on here who could speak to the good and bad of the 1172s. We are a little concerned about storage but as we are going from a 40ft 5th wheel back to a TC its going to be less regardless of what we get. What really attracted us to the 1172 was the bigger bathroom of the 1181 with the side entrance of the 1191, plus the rear recliners so we could sit somewhere while the kids slept in the dinette.
