Open Range did not go bankrupt. They were bought out by Jayco, and are run by the original management team as a wholly owned subsidiary. They have always had a 2 year warranty.
I knew someone would correct any errors I made. If that's the case, wouldn't Jayco be on the hook for warranty repairs?

My understanding is Highlandridge, the new subsidy Jayco established as the parent Co. of the Open Range line, honored all existing warranties. The 2 year warranties of the original Open Range units were honored until they expired.
However once the warranties of the original OR company expired.
The new Co., Highland Ridge did not assume any warranty liability for the original units.
In short there was no goodwill/extended liability afforded to owners of the original units. Once the warranties expired Highland Ridge assumed no liability for units built by the original Open Range Co.
