You may see little help with the new nylon cap but the tires will run cooler and will stay together better in the event of a road hazard causing a flat. Can't be responsible for whatever they are doing with the Marathon. I just completed an 8,000 miles towing trip across the county-not a single issue on the new Carlisle Radial Trailer RH tires w/the nylon cap.
Westlake has also now added the Nylon cap as well.
