Thanks for the responses. Our best guess for use is about 25% towing 75% driving around north Austin as daily commute. So 5000 miles per yr towing, about 12 trips under 300 mile and 1-2 trips longer each year.
Same price? F150 equipped as needed is almost 10k less than diesel f250 similarly equipped. Also diesel cost to own is about double. So trying to figure out if cost is worth it or overkill.
I am not sure the gas f250 is an option unless people who own them say it would be fine. I do have the f150 hd available but only 1 so very limited selection.
