My folks tow a 5th Wheel with their 1997 2500 Chevy Long Bed. 454 V8, Fuel Injected (7.4L). Only been used for towing...has 43,000 miles on it. It's never left them but they keep up on general maintenance. It's lasted thru 3 different 5'rs.
