- KittykathExplorer IITwo campers ago we discovered mold in the corner of the slideout floor. The camper had been parked and rarely used on a seasonal lot. It wasn't level. The leaking had also caused the floor to rot and the walls to soften. None of it was noticeable at a glance. We had to touch the area to find the damage. Surprisingly, the dealer still took it in trade anyway.
- 2012ColemanExplorer IINo. Off gassing kills the mold.
- GoldstalkerExplorerYou will only get mold if you have a leak. Even that will only be an issue if don't take care if it promptly. Proper maintenance is key. You won't get mold just because you have a slide.
