A friend of mine does wraps on race cars, for one of the televised race series. She stays very busy with the cars, trailers and trucks, too. The biggest problem I see, is the cost. A simple wrap would be more than $2,000, just start with. They are very susceptible to scratches and then repairs will be difficult, in matching the existing wrap. If you are doing something like the individual in the TCM article, it would work. But for me, I could find a lot more things to spend $2,000 on. But, a good wrap with good UV fighting materials (3M), can look pretty great.
