Aqua Magic

We have an Aqua Magic Style Plus

On occasion, when flushed, after filling the basin, the water sometimes continues to seep in causing an over flow. We replaced the seals and valve. Eliminating the cowl to be sure there is no possible mechanism bind. Has anyone else had this problem? Also, should there be a water pressure regulator and if so, what would be the maximum water pressure?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a high volum, low pressure regulator 50 psi max. The valve on the Aqua Magic does not function properly at high pressures.

Yes there should be a water pressure regulator. Mine is set for 40-50 psi. no more than 50. This could be your problem. If nothing else you could install a shut off valve in the supply line. My advice would be to replace the toilet with one of the new china models like maybe a Dometic 310. Almost like a residential crapper for under $200.00

The Style Plus is a China Bowl toilet.

    OP:
When you replaced the water valve did you flush supply line before installing new valve?

Doesn't take much debris to hang up those valves and cause them to weep.
There are no 'adjustments'......just need to be sure return spring is on correctly and held tight
