There is no way a 990 is going to be wet at 3600#. Dry weight of the unit is 3010. They you have to add the Value Package option (which is a mandatory option go figure) that is 595# (take a look at their brochure page 18 on the upper left side you well see Value Pack with a weight of 595#) So add this to the 3010# is 3605#. This is without batteries, (30# each X2 =60 ), propane (60#)and water (about 460#) The weight of the camper wet comes in about 4185# Now you have to add any other options you add like AC, solar, generator, bumper and Fox Landing and on and on plus also you have to add your personal belongs, which most figure well be about 500#. I think when somebody gave you that figure they forgot the Value Pack additional weight.
I use to have a 1140 (which I should of kept but didn't and that is another story) so I know they are heavy campers but very well built and strong.
