I was not surprised by the camper weight, but did forget to add in the weight of bed mat, camper tie downs, larger receiver and extension. These items put me within 100 lbs of my 275/70R18 tire capacity when loaded and hitched up for camping. I did not want to be counting and weighing each item I packed with me, so upgraded to 19.5" wheels to give me more margin and not worry about it. This should not be an issue for your F450 - Mine is only a 250.
