Does anyone know why there so few AF dealers compared to Lance
Lance commands the market with about fifty percent of all truck camper sales each year. Perhaps more to the dealer issue was a temporary change in management when the owner of Northwood had some major medical issues a few years ago. Prior many smaller dealers sold Arctic Fox products; however, many opted out as the company then wanted each dealer to carry one of each product in inventory. Many smaller dealers could not afford to carry that much inventory. It was also approximately the same time that the country was into the recession that hit RV dealers hard.
I tend to agree with Bedlam that AF is missing a bet by not producing a side door model. They tend to sell well with the other manufacturers.
