DUH! Truck Campers are very popular in the Midwest and several brands are made in Southern Michigan and Indiana which is the capital of the RV industry by far of all types of RV's. Elkhart, Indiana is only about 10 miles south of the Michigan border and just east of South Bend. We go there a few times each year as it's only about 110 miles south of our home. The campgrounds in the Midwest always have several TC in them and down in Florida too where we go for 2-1/2 months each winter.
By far and I mean far, the most TC's you will see on the road or in CG's are Lance Camper TC's - made for over 50 years now and lots of dealers, Lots of Travel Lites, Palomino - made since 1968 in southern Michigan, Fleetwoods (Caribou etc)- not Outfitter, Sun Lites no longer made, occasional Bigfoot, now a few Cirrus, a few others. Arctic Fox or Wolf Creek TC's are among the least seen in most of the east half of the USA. Same was true in our trips to the N.E. (Bar Harbor etc).
We have had a min of one TC ourselves at any time for 52 years along with our other RV's of different types. WE know what's on the roads and in CG's in a lot of the east side of the USA.
If Arctic Fox or Wolf Creek were wanted of popular in the eastern half of the country, you'd see a lot more dealers selling them but you DON"T and guess why? Do a little research and you will know too!
Forgot about Real lite TC's as still a lot of them in CG's.
