That is only 31,000 miles I have put that on my 01 Ram/Cummins, oh did I mention I started at 234,000 miles.
To the OP question, no direct experience or friends with experience. They were an improved 6.0, and most report lousy fuel mileage. With diesel near $4.00 in most area you need o get better fuel mileage to off set the cost, so you can enjoy the power.
Might think about a GM Duramax or Ram Cummins.
