Are Ford 6.4 Diesels really all that bad??

I have a '08 6.4L that I bought used at 30,000 miles, now have 60,000 miles. Not 1 problem so far. Fuel mileage was bad but with usual deletes and a tuner fuel mileage is much better. I think with this engine you need to strictly follow the manufactures maintenance guidelines. This is what've done and with getting rid of the problem/known "appliances" this engine seems much better. All the big 3 trucks have their problems, all vehicles need to be repaired at some point, just the way it is. JMHO.
