my new TT came with LEDs and they are quite bright. also the lower power consumption is obviously nice on battery usage. based on my experiences changing home light bulbs to LED, the technology has come a long way in recent years, and I don't notice a difference when making the switch. we've been slowly making the switch as our incandescent bulbs die, so there's a mix-n-match all over the house and you can't even tell which is which.
