The warm white LEDs I use are close to the same color temperature as incandescent lamps. To the naked eye, there's some difference, but it's not significant.
There are some LEDs though through ebay and Amazon, that they seller will say "natural white", and they are more of a cool white than warm, which makes reading difficult because the color is too much towards the blue spectrum.
