SG, I replaced my incandescents with the older 36x or 48x 3528 LED panels. I did away with the plastic, white diffusers, choosing to make my own fixtures. I don't know if it's the absence of a diffuser or just the temperature color of the LED's (warm white, spec'd 3500K) but they seem to illuminate with a yellowish cast, more so than the incandescents they replaced.
I like the more mellow color of the Warm Whites for space lighting but like a cooler temp for counter top task lighting. I also read about many on this Forum that have their preferences just the opposite. That leads me to believe that we all have different "likes" and "dislikes" about color ranges.
