That leads me to believe that we all have different "likes" and "dislikes" about color ranges.
No question about it, some do prefer cooler LEDs ... just not me as I find cold light awfully stark. In our previous Spree I did use a cold white Revolution bulb in the light fixture over the shower and didn't find it objectionable at all, probably because daylight coming in through the skylight was quite cool and the tub surround itself was white. In our current rig I thought I wanted LEDs as warm as incandescent bulbs but now do much prefer the slightly cooler colour temperature of the particular LEDs I'm now using which the mfg rates in the 3000K to 3500K range and well above an incandescent bulbs average rating.
I also prefer the 3000=3500 Kelvin over "cool white/daylight" etc. but again it's really personal preference. I wonder if the 921's on normal battery power are 2700 K or maybe lower. I can see a difference in color and intensity with voltages near 14.7 on boost mode.
My advice to anyone switching is to either (a) buy some of several color temps to decide what you like or (b) go someplace that has different color temps and really look at them to decide.
Nothing worse than buying a dozen or more of a color temp and then find out it's NOT what you want/like.
