All you need to test the temp of a LED is a white card and a digital camera. Take a picture of the card next to the light and use the cameras software to do a grey scale of the card. That will tell you the white balance temperature.
Another way is to take a picture of the light with your white balance in auto, then look to see at what temperature it shot at. You could also manually change the white balance to different temperature and take pictures at each setting until the color come out right.
