I did that 25 years ago in a house with single pane windows... It was quite effective in reducing the drafts and cold chill in the bedroom. That may be an option-it would be a pain (pardon the pun) to remove to get a fresh breeze in temperate weather.
The current trailer's layout has the bed at the front under a fixed single pane window... In cold weather ( anything <40) a cold draft washes down the window right onto our heads and shoulders.
And, I am looking for this to be a "4 season" trailer.
Thanks everyone - guess my mind's made up to strive for thermopane windows.
