Boaty…I sympathize w/you. I understand you are there for a particular event…so you can’t pick your dates. It is a shame how some people act. We witnessed similar behavior this weekend. DW likes to go to a particular SP that is right on the beach for 2 weeks. Usually right around this time of year. She used to go after Labor day and it was nice and quiet. Somehow she has managed to move the dates up to include Labor Day weekend…which seems to bring out the worst in some people.
I swear we had this same Guy next to us last year; quiet hours 7:00 pm, most people are getting their fires going ready for a nice quite evening of star gazing (the sky is beautiful at this beach-no light pollution). This Guy STARTS his genny at 7:00, goes inside his 5er, fires up the A/C and BIG screen TV and runs the genny until his movie finishes 3 hrs. later. Ruins what could have been a nice quiet evening. Next morning he is packing up to leave, drains his grey tank right on his sight, while running the genny again! REALLY Bud! Frickin really!
Of course there is no Ranger around to reel this Guy in…
This is exactly the reason I do not like crowded cg’s. I would much rather pick a place in the middle of nowhere and get away from People.
I stayed one night…DW is there for the duration. Not my kind of place….
