Indiana has that now on the interstates. They have pictures that show what is acceptable and non acceptable when passing 18-wheelers. I'm sure some people would argue that it doesn't address large motorhomes, which they perceive as big and slow.
I think it is a general lack of knowledge when it comes to large rigs. It should be included in driver's manuals. That might be a point that RV groups could bring to the attention of their legislatures.
