I feel your pain. I have a sibling with the trash & towel problem. She and 5 of her friends spent a weekend at my house. The first morning, after they all took showers, I walked into the bathroom to find 4 bath towels, 6 beach towels, 4 hand towels, and 4 washcloths (my entire towel collection) wadded up on the floor. I simply walked out and said "i'm not doing laundry this weekend, so if you expect to take showers tomorrow i'd suggest you go hang up your towels so they can dry - otherwise you'll be drying off with moldy towels"... one by one they wandered into the bathroom and picked up their towels. I've since learned to hide one set of towels for my own use in my own home when I have visitors.
