To answer your question; more weight on the tongue is better.
I would have loved to have done this when I had a travel trailer. However, with most travel trailers what you are proposing is simply not practical. The weight on the rear of the trailer will lighten the tongue weight too much. This will cause very noticeable handling issues. Of course, you can counter-balance with other weight up front, but that may cause you to exceed GVW. Additionally, the bike, hanging off the back of the trailer, will cause a lot of bounce that could cause structural damage to the frame rails of the trailer. But, being an optimist, maybe you are within GVW, can balance the trailer properly, reinforce the frame rails, shift the axles back, etc. and have a go at it. Good luck!
