atwood g6a-7 replacement
Can anyone tell me what additional parts I would need to convert from my leaking atwood G6a-7 water heater with manual standing pilot for a G6A-8E WITH DSI?

Only needs 12V DC for a G6A-8E -----no electric element
Atwood uses an aluminum tank which CAN be welded
Atwood does sell replacement tanks
G6a-8e is gas only but uses 12VDC for circuit board controls
12V DC from a FUSED source to ON/OFF switch
From Switch 12VDC to thermal cut off fuse to t-stat
From t-stat to circuit board (Brown wires)
From circuit board to ECO to gas valve (Red Wires)
So you need the 12V DC Fused supply to on/off switch
AN On/off switch and then wired to Brown wire on water heater.
And wire from BLUE wire on water heater to go back to on/off switch for Fault Light
