- Ron3rdExplorer IIIWow, Ford's doing a fabulous job.
- BB_TXNomadAll are doing great. The big 3 plus Toyota all over 20% increase over last year.
I am guessing the bottom 6 or 7 will not be around much longer based on those sales numbers. - TucsonJimExplorer IIWell, I added to the Ford numbers last month.

Don't forget Fred Diaz is driving the ship over at Nissan. I'm sure he'll have a positive impact on that product line.
Having said that the Nissan Titan numbers are so dismal anyone with some common sense could improve that product line. Throw a V8 Cummins under the hood and you make the front line news and watch your product grow! :B- camp-n-familyExplorerI think Toyota is really missing the boat with the new Tundra and the numbers show it. A 10% increase looks ok but it is likely due to sales on the outgoing '13s. The all "new" 2014s aren't really that new, mostly just a re-skin and interior changes over the same drive train. Where they are lagging behind is payload. Ford and GM have upped payload with HD models and saw sales rise. Toyota needs to step up and put out an HD model. Up the payload to 2k (which wouldn't take much to do)and I guarantee they would sell thousands more. I know lots of people who had to jump ship to Ford, not because they wanted to but because they had to.
- Iraqvet05ExplorerI wonder how many of those sales were individual consumer/users and how many were for fleet use. I believe I heard many companies were replacing their aging fleets now that gas prices have remained somewhat stable (yet still high)....maybe a banner year for some makers but will the trend continue?
- fla-gypsyExplorerCongrats to all of the Big 3 truck makers for continuing to produce a good product. The rest are just not significant numbers wise.
- sidneyExplorerRegarding the Big 3...
If margins are not declining... Year Over Year growth is generally the most critical metric in measuring corporate business fundamentals.
Ram is the clear leader. - DadoffourgirlsExplorer

GM reported overall fleet sales were down 8%. It also states that Chevrolet retail sales were up 22%, and GMC 16%. They did not disclose specific retail pickup information. - wnjjExplorer II

Their YTD percent change is lower than GM and RAM. That means they're losing market share. Their #1 sales volume means they were doing a fabulous job.
All 3 are doing great and it's good for all of us.
