How many of you don't use a stinky slinky?
I started out 12yrs ago using a water pressurized 'macerator-lite' and later transitioned to the Flojet macerator. In years of camping I've never used the stinky slinky, am I alone? The macerator works well, is easy to use, and clean.
Am I alone? I need to use the macerator when dumping at home as I have a 100' run (1" hose), but I also use it at a campground dump for the clean experience. Am I missing a needed experience when dumping at campgrounds?
yep, x2. handling/rinsing/messing with a stinky slinky sucks. a $100-175 purchase will eliminate the worst chore of RVing. I have been amused when I see a $250,000 Class A with a stinky slinky lying on top of two or three units of aluminum framework to get it to drain properly when for the cost of those gadgets one could buy something better.
now if you always stop at the dump station on the way out instead of staying at a FHU site every three nights or so, then a stinky slinky is the way to go.
