Loulou is right ... When I had a basement and a sump pump in New Brunswick it was illegal to connect the sump pump to the sewer drain. I guess the expected the sump pump to be routed to a dry well outside.
Here in Texas I have a clean out in my backyard on the outside of my kitchen sink. That is where I put the outflow from the FloJet.
Love my FloJet but don't use it except at home. At the campground the slinky slinky does the job better and does not end to be babysat. While I am dumping I am breaking camp. I even used to use my Hydroflush a couple of times during that process, all while putting stuff away. Now I have a built in flushing system and let that run in the background also.
In all my years of dumping, nothing ever got stuck un the ribs of my slinky .... If that happens you are doing it wrong. If anything stinky leaks out or drips on the ground you are doing it wrong. The stinky slinky is rinsed with the grey water. Oh, I have always used a clear 45 deg elbow with hose attachment or a Hydroflush, so that after I dump grey I can also rinse the slinky by turning on the hose with both black and grey valves closed so FW is forced to go back down the dump in the ground. Once disconnected any drips are clean water. I also use no gloves - waste of time since the stuff is ours, and I have never seen the need to use gloves when I go to the toilet anyway. :)
This thread is an interesting read though. :)
